Founded in 2020 during a global pandemic. Marcus Carman created Goodfifty to find like-minded people in business and help them grow their brands and spread their message.
Over nearly a decade of experience as a creative designer both in-house and agency side, Marcus Carman helped dozens of brands, from bootstrap startups to multi-billion-dollar national companies, to develop brand identity systems that are not only beautifully designed, but play a vital role in conveying and supporting their overarching brand strategies.
Over almost ten years and hundreds if not thousands of design jobs, he soon discovered that the difference between good design and truly great design, is work created with empathy, purpose and passion.
Recognising that some of the best branding opportunities lie with startups and small businesses who require a more intimate working relationship than a traditional agency environment can provide, Marcus decided it was time to pack up his desk and put his experience, skills and passion to the test with his own venture.
Marcus set out doing what he loves and does best, design with purpose. With a goal to find brands that share the same values and beliefs, those that are driven towards helping the world move towards a happier, healthier and more sustainable future. Working with these brands is what keeps the passion alive and produces the best and most rewarding work.
